Terms of Service

1. The Service

PageCrave is a reading application for serialized fiction. Chapters are provided through the app for personal, non-commercial reading. We may add, change, suspend, or remove parts of the Service (including individual stories) at any time.

2. Accounts

• You can read as a guest without creating an account. A random device identifier is used to preserve your library and progress on the Service.
• If you connect an account (for example with Google on Android or Apple on iOS), you are responsible for keeping access to that account. We do not manage your provider credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if it is higher.

3. Coins and chapter unlocks

• Coins are a virtual balance used to unlock chapters. Coins have no monetary value, cannot be purchased in the current version, cannot be transferred between users, and cannot be redeemed for cash or credit.
• Coins may be earned through daily check-ins, reading activity, or optional rewarded content, as described in the app.
• We may adjust earning rates, chapter pricing, or coin features prospectively. Coins already earned remain usable to unlock chapters.
• Unlocking a chapter grants a personal, non-transferable license to read that chapter through the app. It does not grant ownership of any content.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not reproduce, redistribute, scrape, or resell any part of the Service or its catalog, or circumvent unlock or rate-limiting mechanisms.
• Do not interfere with the Service, attempt unauthorized access, or create multiple accounts to abuse free-coin systems.
• We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, fraud, or abuse, and may retain minimal non-identifying records for that purpose.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, the app, and the catalog of stories are protected by intellectual property laws. Stories are licensed to you solely for personal reading through the app. "PageCrave" and related marks may not be used without our prior written permission.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Stories are works of fiction; any resemblance to real persons or events is coincidental.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.

8. Termination and deletion

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from within the app, as described in our Data Deletion Instructions. We may terminate or suspend access to the Service for conduct that violates these terms or is harmful to other users or us.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When changes are material we will update the effective date above and may notify you within the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

10. Contact and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and you and we submit to the courts of that jurisdiction except where mandatory local consumer law gives you a different forum.
