The Brothers and Their Crazy Sister

RomanceComplete34 chapters

Chasity Russo has exactly three talents: talking back, finding trouble, and surviving things that should have finished her off years ago. Raised by a mother who kept vanishing into her own haze, she learned early that the only person she can count on is herself, plus the little voice in her head that never stops commentating. She babysits for cash, sprints through cemeteries at midnight, and treats every rule as a suggestion written for somebody else.

Then one babysitting job goes sideways in the worst way, and Chasity wakes up as a hostage in a mansion owned by seven cold, dangerous strangers who share her last name. The Russo brothers run their corner of the world without mercy, and they have zero patience for the mouthy teenager who will not stop talking, which she takes as a personal challenge. Their mansion has maids, snack drawers, and an intercom that yells her awake before school, yet nobody will even tell her their names. What they do not know is that the girl in their guest room is not random at all. She is the baby sister who was stolen before her first birthday, the one her eldest brother built a charity around, the one this family never stopped mourning.

When Chasity digs up the truth about her own kidnapping, armed with a borrowed laptop, a lab run by her only friend's estranged father, and a truly reckless amount of nerve, she does what any sensible person would do: she runs. But nobody outruns a last name like Russo, and when tragedy drags her back to their gate, the brothers who once kept her hostage are done letting her go.

Mansion life is anything but quiet. There is Leonardo, the terrifying leader she insists on calling a ninja turtle. There is Antonio, the secret twin who cannot keep a secret to save his life. There is Rocco, the meanest of the seven and very obviously still in love with his ex, so Chasity appoints herself captain of the campaign to reunite them. Meanwhile the brothers' glittering girlfriends treat Chasity like furniture, which is a mistake they will only get to make once. Between mandatory family dinners, stolen hoodies, thumb-wrestling tournaments, and a school where everybody whispers her last name, the mansion that was supposed to be a prison starts feeling a lot like home.

Then there is Stefan Romero: cocky, reckless, and every bit as unhinged as she is. He is also completely off-limits, because his father leads the one family the Russos fear. Falling for him would be a catastrophic idea, and Chasity Russo has never once turned down a catastrophic idea.

The Brothers and Their Crazy Sister is a loud, laugh-out-loud family drama about a girl who grew up unloved and the seven overprotective brothers who never stopped looking for her. She arrived as a hostage; she stays as the chaos they cannot live without. All hell is going to break loose, that is for sure. The only question left is whether this crazy girl is the glue that finally fixes her family, or the match that burns it all down.
